“My Bridesmaids wore custom black crepe jumpsuits each with the same silhouette trousers with their own individual tops to suit their style. Our flower girls wore silk dupion dresses with pop socks and page boy wore silk dupion shorts with cotton peter pan collar shirt. We made both our Mums their own bespoke dresses in silk crepe with beautiful laces. I obviously found it impossible to choose just one look (!) and was so happy to take inspiration from our own Brides and made my crepe day dress with a removable silk Faille train which I took off before we sat down for dinner. Then after cocktail hour I changed in to a form fitting, hand beaded evening dress. It was the most extravagant and fun game of dress up I’ve ever played and I’m honestly so sad it’s over.
