17 Dresses
A (VERY) JB WEDDING
Last November, I found myself joining our Jb Bride gang as I said ‘ I Do’ in front of all our friends & family at Manchester’s Albert Hall. Of course there was planning, lots of planning, in the 14 months before. From dried flower stems to invite bindings I did not quite believe where the mind wanders when planning for a wedding however, my main focus of course was the dresses. And there were lots of dresses (well dresses & jumpsuits actually) but we wanted to share with you some highlights from our day.
My Bridesmaids wore custom black crepe jumpsuits each with the same silhouette trousers with their own individual tops to suit their style. Our flower girls wore silk dupion dresses with pop socks and page boy wore silk dupion shorts with cotton peter pan collar shirt. We made both our Mums their own bespoke dresses in silk crepe with beautiful laces. I obviously found it impossible to choose just one look (!) and was so happy to take inspo from our own Brides and made my crepe day dress with a removable Mikado bow & train which I took off before we sat down for dinner. Then after cocktail hour I changed in to a beaded party dress. It was the most extravagant and fun game of dress up I’ve ever played and I’m honestly so sad it’s over.

As we enter week 2 of isolation , I’ve found it’s so important to do things daily that make us feel good, and looking back through these photos makes me the very happiest. What have you been doing daily that makes you feel good? We’d love to know.
